The Tourism Network - energy, enthusiasm and experience

After 20 years in the industry and 17 years of consultancy, it would be easy to become jaded as a result. So a couple of years ago we made some radical changes, moving away from London back to Yorkshire. We still work in London as well as the rest of England.

Now based in the Yorkshire Dales, fresh ideas flow more easily. We're lucky enough to be able to only work on projects we believe in and think we'd enjoy. That's where the energy and enthusiasm come from.
We try to only work for "nice" people and as a result are much more productive because we want to do our best and build relationships.

We are a team of people who have known each other for years and enjoy working together. I (Susan Briggs) lead each project and am personally involved in them all. We particularly enjoy challenging, tricky projects. That doesn't stop us from wanting to do the odd easy project too though! We like unravelling knotty balls of string. Here are some examples of our previous projects and clients

We are as happy to spend just a day advising a client as we are to undertake extended, retained projects. We don't use the "find and replace" approach to consultancy and strategies because each project we do tends to be very different so there's no one set solution. However, if you do need a fairly simple strategy, we can sell you a basic version and then offer you advice on how to tailor it for yourself. This will be much cheaper for you and we won't spend days pretending we're doing background work when we're not and won't charge you a fortune for not doing very much. We can also suggest some more productive ways of working.

This is what one of our lovely clients wrote last week:"You are by far the best consultants I have worked with - very professional and really nice to work with. I am really looking forward to pulling our tourism dept round with your help".
